Teddy Bear Collection for Those Who Have Lost a Loved One

February’s Campaign is a TEDDY BEAR DRIVE

This February and March we are doing something extra special. We are holding a large event on Sunday, March 5th to dedicate teddy bears to those who have lost a loved one. Inspired by a family who has endured great loss, we felt inclined to hold a large-scale event to show love and compassion to those in need during a time of grief. We will send more information on this event #SomethingSpecial which will become an annual event in conjunction with Operation Warm Wishes.

For now, please mark your calendar for Sunday, March 5th, 2016 from 1:00-5:00 (drop in anytime) and we will send more info to spread the word. This will be a free event with LOADS of fun for the kids (think taste tests, henna tattoos, airbrush hats and shirts, crazy hair, face painters, DJ, etc) however donations will be accepted and 100% of all proceeds will go to children of families who have loss of one or both parents.

FOR NOW, THIS IS WHAT WE NEED:

TEDDY BEAR DONATIONS!

If you wish to donate – any stuffed toy will suffice that is new or slightly used (appears new and is clean). The only parameters are they need to be approximately a standard teddy bear size (no beanie babies, etc.). We will collect these prior to the event. If you wish to collect and donate please contact Kim and we can provide you with several drop off locations depending on where you live. Bears can also be delivered as well to our office. Bears will be dedicated in a special way that day to those who have lost a parent, child, husband, wife, miscarriage, sibling – anyone you feel needs to have a bear dedicated in their memory anywhere in the world.

Collection starts February 1 and runs until Feb 28th.
